Sketch text in Alibre Atom

Alibre Atom 3D text doesn’t seem to be installed on my version of soft ware but when someone who has had a look at my dilemma of not been able to draw numbers on a press tool to make an angle dial has added them to a model of the finished item model the option appears on my screen to show more options. Is there anything I can do to action the text option on my  pc.

Can you try posting the photo again in a new post as it is not showing up for me.

Also it would help David if you can say what version of Atom you have as it may have been updated if you just bought with a one off payment.

Based on my Pro version you won’t be able to get the text to follow a curve if Atom has not been updated to the latest version in the last 18months or so. Prior to that I have individually set the angle of each number.

Atom may have some functions stripped out.

Text is an option in 2D sketch – see below

Once you have the text in a sketch, you can extrude boss or extrude cut it to form a 3D feature.

maybe not obvious in David’s screen shot but click the button next to “along path” to get the dropdown with more options for placement
