      Hi everyone,

I’m William, based in Edinburgh. I work mainly in home repairs and plumbing, but I’ve always had a real interest in mechanical things and how they’re put together.

I’ve recently started getting curious about model engineering mostly just reading up and watching videos so far, but I’m hoping to learn more and maybe give a few small projects a go. Thought this forum would be a good place to connect with people who know what they’re doing!

Looking forward to picking up some tips and ideas from the community.

      Cheers,
      William

        Hi William,

Welcome to the forum. You should be able to get tips and ideas from the forum members. What kind of machines do you have?

Welcome William, ask away.   And please watch out for plumbing and home repair questions that you can help us with!  Model Engineers will attempt to fix anything technical, and sometimes we get into a right pickle…

              Welcome,

As you receive help other Forum users, you will be able to use your expertise to help them, no doubt.

Just ask and someone will provide answers and help.

Tell us what machine(s) you have.  (So you have and the help can be more detailed).

If you are thinking of buying to start up, say what you hope to do and you can get advice on what machine(s) might be suitable for your intentions, budget and space; and how to install and set up.

You may find that there are fellow enthusiasts and Forum members near to you who can provide face to face help.

              Howard
