Hi, thank you all for your messages !
I live in Strasbourg, in France near the german border, so, it will be a very good surprise if on of you is living around !!!
I'm in "classic" motorcycles for ages, especially the pre and post ww2 ones, and if possible british ones. I own now a 1942 WDCO Royal Enfield and a 1951 J2 Royal Enfield (in construction, the lathe and the milling machine don't cool down oftenly), and my long time favorite, named "Old Faithfull", a MK3 Velocette LE.
The funny thing is that first, the lathe, and now the Emco, were just tools to avoid the classic "please-my-friend-can you-do-that-thing-once-you'll-have-time-but-it-would-be-great-if-it-wasn't-six-months" for the restauration of my bikes, to become subject of projects and improvements, there the fact of my visits on your forum. And then the proud to have made personnal tools and parts, included in the achievement all the thinking process to make them…
