Self isolating in the workshop. Used the ML7 for a fairly lengthy period and noticed some noise from the rear bearings., so increased the oiling. Then yesterday, again after some running time, the shaft was getting hard to turn by hand and bearing was warm (not hot). Took the top cap off and there is some slight damage to bearings, but this seems more on the thrust faces.

Before I strip down, I would like to get a new thrust bearing and replace this when the shaft comes out. Had a grub round the web but not seen any for sale. Does anyone know if these are still available or the spec?

          Richard,

Take a look at the Bearing Boys website. I'm sure you will find a match for your thrust bearing within their range and better still it will be a postal delivery so you are still maintaining your isolation

          Regards

          Brian.
