I add these pics to show my modifications for a Myford cross and topslide. I have described this before in the MEW mag.

The photos show a Myford topslide modified to be a Lever Locking topslide on a modified cross slide with two shallow vee groves running the length of the cross slide. The topslide can be moved and rotated to any angle anywhere on the cross slide and locked by the side lever.
