ml6 nose thread

Does anyone know the thread size on nose of an early ml6?

Trying to work out adaptor for it to use a small chuck using a back plate.

At work for next few days so can't check mine.

I don't know, but Myford adopted a nose thread of 1.125 inch by 12 TPI Whit for the early ML2 to ML4 lathes and carried that through to the ML7 lathes and the variants; I imagine it would be logical for them to adopt the same method on an ML6. a lathe incidentally I have never seen.

ML6 appears to be an interesting machine !!

from rough memory it is closer to 2", i briefly looked at doing project last year.

also want to make adaptor so i can use collet's from it on my main lathe as well.
