      After making some Dickson type tool holders for my Boxford ME10, I decided to make some for my Colchester Student 1800, I had 6 already , and decided to make another 5,

      Here are some pictures of the various operations,

      Instead of using a 90 degree horizontal milling cutter to do the "Vs", I decided to tilt the head of my Elliott U2 mill over to 45 degrees, ( see the picture ) ,

        Richard, what grade material did you use for the holders please ?

          Hello Emgee,

          The tool holders started as 2" square EN3B, which is readily available and can be case hardened if required, and machines easily.
