        100_0824.jpgI have made an adaption to an insert cut off tool holder that solves the snatch and break problem with these tools. I have mounted it upside down with a shop made tool block holder. It works very well preventing wrecks by sliding up when it grabs. The quick change tool posts are made to have the main thrust of forces directed down with no relief possible if there are problems. This tool holder will slip up saving the blade.100_0823.jpg

          Nice idea … can't see, the 1st pic is out of focus so difficult to see the workings of it?

            Mine's been like that for a long time

            because I was too lazy to make a proper one

              Will get a better picture, but it is just a home made tool holder with 2 bolts holding a bottom extension in place. Everything machined together after assembly.
