Due to a reluctant house sale I am forced into an even more reluctant sale of my workshop.

I am putting my myford ML7 in a package with all its accessories, chucks, faceplates, back tool-post etec etc.

I have failed in my attempt to put it on facebook after fighting the software (refuses to accept my town is a genuine place!).

So where should I advertise the sale of this and my other workshop items for best effect?

The light-blue bar near the top of this page contains the word Classifieds in white text

        I suggest you click that

eBay is free to sellers ATM, lathes.co.uk is another site, not sure what they charge? Face book has good coverage but if you are on eBay that will give you a lot of viewings so not really essential. Dealers will give you a quick sale but at rock bottom prices.

You could try local model engineering clubs. Even if you are not a member, you may find people interested in buying your stuff.

Can’t it decide whether you are in England or Wales???

Seriously, the classifieds here and John/Adam Stevenson’s homeworkshop.org.uk are good places if you have a firm idea of how much you want for your stuff. If you just want shot of it or are happy to let the market decide, the EBay will do that.

In all cases, an accurate description and many, good, photos will help greatly in encouraging serious purchasers.

I see you have the Myford in classifieds on here, looks a good set up pity I’m not looking for another one.
