I know this isn’t the oldest home madeworkshop tool – I have much older hand-made ones from the tip, or boot sales. But the spot-facer I made in 2000 when making a Stuart 10V – my first ‘proper’ engineering model just did a neat little job of spot-facing the crank holes on my loco wheels.

Of the spot facer or the holes?

 

The holes are in these pics… but I think you mean the tool don’t you!
