I have just noticed a Drummond round bed on ebay in Shrewsbury. It needs tender loving restoration, and would make a very nice modellers lathe.
The ebay number is 267231608291
Drummonds are probably the most common lathe on ebay after Myfords, and a roundbed appears almost every week. There are probably somewhere between 50 and 100 lathes on there around the country at any one time.
I just checked ebay, there are 3 round bed Drummonds which are identified, I didn’t try to find the number of Myfords from the 2800 listings.
Hi There is a group web site for Drummond lathes www,drummondlathe@groups.io Have a look on there for help
I have an M type Drummond lathe which I use all the time and there are many others on the web site which will help.
David
