Hi

The pictures tell the story really… Cut up a spare diamond cup grinder and shaped a segment up. Made a little jig and welded it together.

The connector nut allows it to sit flush on the grinder steady. I turned down an M12 bolt and cut an M8 thread on it.

Nothing special I guess, but should be better than the hollow box section tools that I have seen. It works very well indeed.

I would never thought of using an old diamond wheel for that .

That's not an old diamond wheel it's brand new and retails at about £20 at Toolstation

Richard.. You are indeed right and a toolpack product I think. It was left over after I did my garage floor and I used a different one in the pic on a makita concrete planer.

WOW that's the deluxe version dave, I just buy cheapo diamond sthill saw size cutting disks from autojumbles & cut them into segments like cheese & use them like that, better than a single diamond.
