Denford CNC Lathe ?Viceroy based

I have buried away in storage a large CNC Lathe which I'm being asked to relocate and I'm trying to work out where to relocate it to

If I had the space in the workshop here there would not be a problem, but it's too big unless I move other kit out and I'm not sure I've that many jobs that would need it.

It is in need of new electronics and from what I have seen on-line, the consensus seems to be that it's best to replace the mechanical variable speed drive (Vbelt arrangement) with a fixed belt and fit an inverter on the motor.

So is there any market for a doer-upper or is the best place to cash it in as scrap. The copper in the transformers must be worth a bit

How big is it? If it's based on the 5" manual lathe I would have thought you'd easily sell it as a fixer upper

It's on it's own cabinet … need the pallet trolley to move …
The Viceroy is 5.5" by 24" but I need to go over and pull it out to confirm the CNC one is the same.

Finally moved the stuff from in front and pulled from the wall … It's a Viceroy 280 Micromaster CNC
