Chipmaster tumbler screws/pin

Hi there Chipmaster owners, lovers and fans!

I am in the process of disassembling the gearbox to give it a good clean inside and to sort out the oil leak that's been like since I got her.

I got to a point where the tumbler needs to be removed, but it just won't move. The manual shows three screws, but I think there is a fourth one that might be butchered by a previous owner. It's looks like a scenario where the area head breaks off and you end up with the remnant in the hole.

I've tried to look for images on the net to see if I can find a photo, but for my luck all have the tumbler in first gear covering this screw/pin whatever might be.

Can anyone take a picture or tell me if it's a screw/pin or whatever before I start digging it out the wrong way.

Could be a location dowel ? reason I suggest that is because the screw fixing points are counterbored and it's very unlikely a skt cap would be damaged in that use.

I think it is a dowel. Mine has a nice clean rounded end. As you say the diagram shows just three screws.
