Boiler Identification

I’ve inherited a part built 5″g Edward Thomas. I know the previous owner had it in his possession for many years without making any progress, so I’m happy that it doesn’t fall into the commercial after some date category. Before I subject if to 2* pressure test, anybody recognise the marking stamped on the  foundation ring. It appears to be EI1. Moved from 08 shunter thread
