I have an AJ Reeves 5 inch driving trolley. I have noticed that that the rubbing metal blocks between the upper and lower section of the bogey have worn away and no longer stop tilt from side to side when cornering.

I am looking for plans or specification of these blocks so I can replace them.

They do not seem to be identified on the drawings on AJ Reeves web site

If my memory is correct they should be loose rollers! I will try to look out the drawings later.

These are solid brass oval blocks with screw in middle about 1 1/2 inch by 3/4 inch

Photos? There may be more than one design. I agree the ones I know had a groove for bearings.

Just looked at my drawings top bogie bolster has 1/2 by 1 1/4 pockets 7/32 deep with two 1/4 dia rollers 7/16 long in each pocket. The centre pin has a 1/4 thick brass rubbing plate. Hope this helps Paul

Thank you for looking at drawings. Unless mine have been modified they only have a solid oval block and the centre pin a brass rubbing plate

                  No Rollers
