Hi, I am looking for the following information on the jenny Lind locomotive. I have a model in very unused condition and on first look I found that the driving wheels are just spinning freely with no movement of the motion at all. So first question is does anyone know how these wheels locked onto the axle, I can’t see any key ways or pins. And second question, as anyone a set of plans showing the motion and also the plumbing of the loco. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

An interference fit, and /or loctite, would be normal for fitting wheels to axles, which seems to have failed in your example. Some constructors might add keys or pins, but that wouldn’t be universal.

Can’t help with the loco plans except to point out that, according to their website, Reeves 2000 sell individual sheets.
