Hello . I would like to fit a check valve to my ST 504 boiler , will it be OK to use the drain plug fitting that at the bottom on the front of the boiler . I don't want to have to make a new hole in it

I dont see why not if you are going to use it for a water feed or something like that. I suppose if you wanted to retain that outlet as a drain you could fit a tee into the line and fit a drain to one of the branches and a clack to the other.
