How does one search the forum for a specific posting number? I’m looking for posting #177402.

It appears that one isn’t expected to, John … which is very strange !

Now that you have posted your question, a search for #177402 finds your post, but only as text

Yes, it looks like the forum search function only searches the text of the posts, not the hearer or the poster’s name.

On the old forum there was the string, /postings/asp?th=( the posting # your looking for) that you could add to the internet search engine’s search header after “forums” that would bring up the requested posting. But now you get the msg. “Looks like we lost a piece. Error 404: Page not found.” and the picture of some LEGO blocks!
