Andrew if you kept all your tools in the workshop rather than the kitchen/lounge/diningroom like the rest of us you would not need to wait for the temperatures to equalise
Not enough room! A quick count reached 30+ micrometers, and that's only the external ones. They'd just be more things to trip over, and after recent events I'm thinking "safety" in the workshop.
It would be really dumb to trip over something and grab hold of a rotating machine. A guide might help put things in context:
Garage = workshop
Dining room = Tool room, cutter store and measurement area
Lounge = 3D printing and technical library
Kitchen = Casting aging, work in progress and assembly hall
Study = Drawing office
Actually, the kitchen is dual purpose, and I am about to prove that by knocking up a curry for supper this evening.
Regards,
Andrew
