Vintage oiler OIL CAN — MADE IN ENGLAND – ABBEY OILER. Suggested to try here, can not put my photos here, ????? but I put them in an album here, and can someone put them here ?? Thanks first post and newbie. Thanks from CANADA

Hello again….. I think I have made some headway myself. Appears it may be an oiler for a LOCOMOTIVE TRAIN, as CANON did something like this too ………………………. but not sure and ……………………………. have not found anything about the name ABBEY OILER

Try searching Graces Guide.

Might be untraceable; oil cans and similar were made by many companies, large and small, and it was common for them to be Brand-named on request. 'Abbey' might be the name of a long gone Ironmonger rather than a make.
