colchester master mk 2 cross slide @compound slide locks

has anyone fitted locks on the Colchester master mk 2 cross and compound slide,s any info would be appreciated thank you in advance for any info regards Richard.

I have a Colchester Master 2500, the top slide has a lock fitted operated by an Allen screw facing the operator,the cross slide is locked by another screw,positioned vertically on the right hand side of the slide,it is not very obvious that this screw is a lock and could be confused with the other screws holding the cross slide nut.
