Greetings,
Can anyone explain to me in simple terms the equation of a hyperboloid please.
What I'm trying to do is to construct a hyperbolic curve such as would be seen as the side of a one sheet hyperboloid, if such a figure were to be drawn flat on a sheet of paper.
I know I haven't explained that very well. I can draw hyperbolic curves free hand, who can't. My issue is I want to draw one that starts and ends at specific defined points, and that intersects those points precisely.
Thanks in advance.
Carl.
