I haven't a clue. This machine is set up at Anson Engine Museum. Anyone know what it is? Looks like a Myford dividing head, but no down feed to quill

Not unlike a Sixis mill or one of the similar styles with one of the many accessories in the form of a dividing head on the front

The basic machine is an Aciera F1.

Concur with Phil. I have an F12 which is its predecessor but almost identical, but a friend of mine has an F1. I do not have an Aciera Dividing head on it only the simple indexing head. I do have a Myford dividing head sitting on a shelf which could now have found a new purpose in life. Unfortunately it is missing the bar and the tailstock.

Myford DH on Aciera F1 mill. On the F1 the table rises and falls rather than the quill. The Aciera DH is considerably smaller than the myford. I used to have an F1, a lovely machine made for the Swiss watch industry but too small for me. Sold it to finance my VMB.

                      Oh dear blush

I was on a bumpy 'bus, and posted in haste.

I should have recognised it, having mentioned this excellent article by J. Malcom Wild several times in the past: **LINK**
