Super 7 big bore motor shaft diameter

Wondering if anyone could help please? I have a later Super7 big-bore lathe with the poly-vee drive to the layshaft from the motor. I've got a 3-phase motor that I want to fit that has a 5/8 inch shaft, just wondering if anyone knows what diameter the lathe's original motor shaft is? The shank of a 16mm milling cutter doesn't quite fit in the small part of the hole in the pulley not filled with shaft which suggests that it may well be 5/8, just wondering if anyone knows the answer to save myself the job of removing the pulley.

Many thanks to the person who confirmed by PM that the shaft is 5/8 diameter.
