Search for Sir David Ried model loco constructor

I was asked by a friend who had a past family member who built model locomotives one was named Sir David Ried and others after members of his own family.

The name of the model engineer was Ried.

I know it's a bit of a long shot but does anyone have information of the model engineer please.

I have been asked again if anyone knows the whereabouts of model loco builder Percy Reid model of Sir David Reid.

It was built about 1950-1960 in Tinsley.
