Thanks John,
It looks like the MB sist has not been fully archived as I can’t seem to get further than the view the album stage and not all the thumbs seem to be populated. I will do a bit more poking around though as it may depend on how the album was created.

What appears to happen, is that a given URL is archived, so the “Albums” page of model boats (red circle) has been archived 244 times, as shown in the blue circle here

Each time that page is archived, the site seems to save page 1 of the albums list, which will be different on each day, or even within two presentations on the same day (Green Circle). It also seems to save mainly individual thumbnails.
The same “Albums” address shows a different content for each of the 244 archives, depending on the date, so all of these green circles will likely show a different result

It’s all a bit hit and miss finding what you seek.
Ideally find the top level address of a member’s album, and see if that’s been archived individually, though again, you might only find page 1 within that album.
So to pick a different date, page 1 of the “Albums” list show Gareth Jones at the top, and you’re able to pick his profile, which also happens to be archived.

From his profile, you can then see he had 1067 photos saved on the date in question,, which in turn shows his album’s URL, archived 5 times in total

Picking a different date within those 5 shows a different iteration of Page 1 so it might be possible to get an alternative try for a different picture within an album.

It’s by no means a certainty what happens next, as, in this example, the tug album hasn’t been archived, though it does show a URL.
