New Member – Unimat 3 Owner

Hi everyone,

I’ve been lurking on these forums for the past few weeks and thought I may as well join. I own a Unimat 3 after upgrading from the SL over a year ago and am quite happy with it.

I don’t consider myself a typical engineer and work to standards within thousandths of an inch etc but I make enjoy what I make.

I have been making miniature artworks for the past few years and my unimat lathes have been a great help in achieving the small parts and components I need which are coupled with existing parts from everyday metal objects.

Here’s a photo of my latest finished work to give you an idea of the kind of things I do.

Welcome from a fellow Emco user. I am not into the arty side of life, but I do like the clever use of the recycled objects.

Nice work and it will no doubt be an inspiration to others.
