I've made up a fairly hefty (for me) order for Mallard Metals and tried to place it by phone, yesterday and again today, but my calls return only the "Number Unobtainable" tone.

The web-site seems all active though.

I've sent a message asking if they are having a problem with their phone, which is also the facs number, but has anyone else found this with them or know what's happened?

Unfortunately Rob died a bit back. This is from their Facebook page.

A pity as they were less than 5 minutes in the car from me.

Bought stuff from them and they were always helpful and friendly.

              Oldiron –

Yes – my message was to that address.

              Nick –

Oh, I am sorry to read that. Has the company gone as well? I copied the order form from their on-line catalogue, so the site is still active.

Don't know I'm afraid, but websites do tend to 'linger' – I am always telling the students I teach that once it is on the Internet it can be up there for ever!

I must get myself a 'Roundtuit' and make certain that the passwords to my websites etc are recorded so someone else can take over using them or take them down after I am no longer able to manage them myself.

You may find Roundtuits are sold by Spare Minute stockists…

Yes, that pass-word list is a good idea, especially if like me you have about 20 user-names and passwords, and they are all different.
