        Hi all.

Just a note to say I had to move a Naerok centre lathe today from one garage workshop to another several miles distant.

I've shifted plenty of decent sized machines with varying degrees of grunting and groaning.

As this was a larger machine than I am used to playing with I decided it was probably beyond my experience and not worth damaging for the sake of trying to.move it myself.

Today I used Steve Cox of Landylift and I just wanted to say what a pleasure it was to see the job done professionally.

He made it look simple and controlled every stage of the move so carefully.

I have no connection to Steve other than being a very satisfied client with a lathe delivered unharmed.

Hi Plasma. Yes he does have a pretty good reputation. Have had a couple of friends use him with no complaints.

          regards

Steve collected and delivered my Warco GH1330 from Scunthorpe, and delivered very professionally to Buxton.
He thus comes highly recommended from me too.

Arrival, Steve's the less hairy one.

Steve left it just inside the garage for me to fit the feet etc and I moved it into the final position myself the following day next to its baby brother, a Warco 720; a 1970s copy of a Super 7.

The garage now looks rather more full

Steve delivered an old Churchill Cub Mk III lathe to me in the Thirsk area last year, having collected it from a farm location halfway down a hillside on Saddleworth Moor near Halifax.

I too was impressed with the care he took over the whole job and in my case he was able to deliver about 600 kg deadweight right into my workshop, reaching through under the frame of the doors using the full capabilities of the hydraulic arm.

Steve collecting and delivering my Myford 254. As others have said, someone you can depend on.
