My cousin used to have the Corgi model, about ten inches or a foot long, with rotating number plates (worked by moving the aerial up and down), working ejector seat and IIRC, the pop-up bullet-proof shield behind the rear window. Always wonder what happened to it.

Quoted as $100,000 price tag. Guessing US dollars.

Send the ad to blue heeler? It would make a good addition to his collection of toys.

I had the Corgi one when they came out in the 60's. They were only "normal" Corgi size, around 4" or so, can't remember a larger version.

Hmm, this was definitely much larger – I may be wrong in saying Corgi, though. frown

How about a small scale DB5 convertible you can drive? Checkout The Little Car Company.

Sounds like the Airfix model that was about 10 long.

In the early 'sixties I was posted to Regents Park barracks. That evening the duty driver (Hillman Husky) took me for a jolly round the West End where he parked up near a car showroom. On display was the 007 car from the film with the tyre slashing spears sticking out from the wheels. As a 17 year old Craftsman I was very impressed.

I once owned a MG midget with the number plate L00 7 C. Sold car at market price. What a mistake.

                          .

A quick nosey on DVLA suggests that someone is probably holding onto it in hope of transferring the plate sometime.

First reaction from the site was “there is a problem” … but then I just confirmed that it was the right vehicle.
