Good morning all.

Anyone seen the piece about the 1744 wreck of the Victory on BBC news?

Fascinating insight into the beginnings of modern systems such as GPS, smart phones et al.

Amazing that a guy who was barely literate but an "ingenious mechanick" was able to develop such a device.

Great British invention exploited by foreigners. Typical.

Re drones delivering everything. Do you remember the news stories in the '60s where cities were full of personal helicopters and elevated monorails? Or the fifties when everything was atomic peoered in the future and electricity was free? After a while reality steps in.
