I recently bought one of these machines and the dowel for locating the head to 90 degrees is missing can anyone help with sizes, i think it is a 2 degree taper dowel, but may be wrong.

      Many thanks Paul.

PS I have been in touch with Boxford and that was a complete waste of time.

Just measured the taper pin. 42.7mm long, 11.8mm at widest point and 9.8mm at the narrow end, which I make 2.68 degrees included angle/ It has a M6 threaded hole and a counter sunk collar for the outside wider end. You tap it into place and then just nip the caphead M6. To remove you merely tighten the caphead and it withdraws.
