Someone very kindly game me this bandsaw

The problem is I push the on switch but it will not stay on, well it did once. The switch is a contact relay and I suspect there may be a problem with the latching of the relay.

The relay is like this one –

The KJD6 NVR switch is a standard item.

Just buy another one and fit it and you're job's a good'en.

Being a curious type of fella I took it apart and cleaned the contacts, now fixed

I have a question: Does yours automatically switch off when it has cut through the work?

I have never been able to get a setting on the switch poker that actually switches the switch off when the arm drops after finishing cutting the work. I think the rubber over the buttons on mine is too stiff and doesn't allow the button to be pressed fully.
