A fresh question.
On another board I asked about using BMS with Iron liners, instead of an expensive gunmetal casting set from Reeves
The problem with that is that Martin EVans design calls for slide valves. I now know that the orginal Midland engine had piston valves, which would make an easier job using round liners for all 4 bores in the block. This getting way beyond my compentancy. I can machine it, but the redesign is not my field. Has anyone produced a set of pistons/valves/ block for this engine, especially drawings. have you done this and have sketches I can follow. Any help would much appreciated.
Thanks
