Has the upload pictures on the forum gone wrong it seems to be over written with a Renew Subscription option http://www.model-engineer.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/images/website_images/subs_me_ren_icon.jpg. This item also seems to be messing up forum navigation. Can anyone help please . Am using a Google Chrome browser. has anyone else experienced this fault please?

Uploaded this so might as well mention it is a well known hot air engine driving a rotating display which we used to use at the ME exhibition about 10 years or more ago. the box it is on contains a camping gaz cylinder that was enough to power it for several days.

Changes are being made to the forum in et background to improve usability for phone and tablet users.

Most users won't notice but there may be periods with broken links or when you need to refresh pages or clear your cache 'to enjoy the most positive browing experience'

I cannot post a new thread

I can enter text in the main box, place a description, but not place any text in the "thread" title box

Is that just me or part of the ongoing improvements

                  Thanks

Forgive them Lord for they know not what they do.

No doubt the meddlers will know how to reverse any changes to allow the rest of us to view the site while they have another think in the event of the site throwing wobblies?

Took long enough to stop links underwriting the ads. "But it works OK with ………………"

If "Professionals" like Msloth have to keep changing things, what chance others.

                      Regards Ian.

Still an inability to put post numbers on the master template.

Sorry Ian, are you complaining that changes to the template cause disruption, asking for a change to the template, or both?

                          G'day Neil.

My browser (Firefox) asks me to 'login' lately on a weekly basis even though I always tick the 'Remember Me' box.

Something is a bit crook as my other sites never ask this.

I have noticed that a number of replies, including one of mine seem to stop mid sentence, then go on, might just be me and this rubbish system (windows 10) . Ian S C

That's just how we have it set – remember me lasts one week. Google has over 8-million hits on the topic of what is best practice for how long cookies should keep you logged in…

You also get logged out if you change device or if we make a significant change to the website and there have been a few changes recently.
