Ive spent 3 months trying to fathom out why the coupling rods on my 71/4 Invicta are binding. (the last loco I built was an 0-6-0 and I had no problems with it). After checking everything 10 times I hade drawn the conclusion that its down to the orientation of the cylinders. They pull and push the axle causing tight spots. Ive tried tightening the suspension but it doesn't much help. So annoyed am I that im stripping it and rebuilding with no suspension on the front end. Can anyone see any issues with this? It was never intended to be a people puller but I would like to see her go round the track just a few times.
