Sorry, long shot.

I am not near my Warco WM180 and need to know the length of the M5 Allen Bolts that are used to secure the Compound Slide to the cross slide. I need to order a third one for a mod but can't remember how long they are and need to order them tonight?

have you got the manual, should have lengths in there, if not the C2 is a similar lathe and looks like 16mm. You can always cut down a longer one.

I found the manual online and I believe the screws are shown on pg 25 item number however its says M5 x 30 which can't be right?

Guess what the manual I linked was kind of right. I was back at the lathe today and pulled them out.

the compound slide is quite think and the Allen bolts are M5 x 25 (30 including the head).

I ordered M5 x 16, but my base plate is 10mm and that will mean they will screw 5mm into the swivel in the cross slide, which is the same as the current ones do with the compound slide fitted.
