Reversing Camera

I'm thinking of fitting a reversing camera to the car, any member fitted the Wi-Fi type to their car secondly I understand you can fit a camera that will work with a smart phone and a app but have been told that the camera connects to the phone ok but the apps are slow to respond ! Would welcome comments on either type.

I have a Garmin GPS. There is a rear view camera accessory available for it. I am considering purchasing one. I understand the connection between the camera and phone is wireless.

I fitted a wireless reversing camera to my car, it uses bluetooth and works quite well, I have a screen sitting on my dash which does flicker if the bluetooth is switched on on the phone and if you happen to pass a vehicle reversing with one fitted my screen comes alive until the signal fails. Better than trying to run a cable front to back though.
