      Hi,

New to this, just a quick question. I have created a small silicone prototype which i need to create a technical drawing (BS 8888) of. I created the technical drawings directly from the Solidworks model, which in the process added lots of 'construction' lines (not sure if that is the right word, 'drawing lines' maybe?). I removed some of the lines but it just doesn't seem right. With the lines it appears too messy but without them the drawings appear to lose some form. Should i keep the lines in or do i remove them or maybe just some of them?

      Any help would be appreciated!

      Thanks

I think what you need to do is to click on the view, right click, select menu option 'Tangent Edge' and then choose 'Tangent Edge with Font' (middle one of the three options). This 'obvious' nomenclature will show lighter, chain dotted, lines where the curved edges blend into flat surfaces or each other. It will give more detail than tangent edges removed and not the level of overwhelming lines when the lines are solid.

          Regards,

          Richard.
