Pitched aluminium rings. Any ideas how to machine them?

I’m jumping the gun here Neil but if I can successfully produce some blanks then what would you suggest for a resistant layer and what method did you use to print? Thanks for any advise as the whole process from start to finish is a big learning curve for me.

A dab of paraffin or WD 40 will help with getting a good finish.
