I think most of the pictures posted are of new workshops. Mine looks nothing like those featured. I was going to post a picture of the end of the workshop to be refurbished but I am too ashamed of it…. I am going to look at a lot of pictures of other people's workshops.

Not necessarily, my workshop has been around since about 1978 when it started life as a workshop, darkroom and potting shed. Last major upgrade was in 2007 when the darkroom, potting shed and partitions came out. However I would admit to it not usually being as tidy as in the photos above. Usually looks like one of the skips at the local recycling centre. Workshop Tour and Starting A New Workshop on my website.

You cannot buy Creusen grinders new in the UK at the moment, afaik.

ETA: Gate Machinery may have some, but last time I inquired with them they were out of the models I was interested in. Cromwell and Axminster have none, unlike previously.

I'm in the shambolic stage of converting workshop from 100% woodwork towards 50/50 woodwork/metalwork.

Well at last got the drawers spay painted. Used some old Honda CBR125 red i had from years ago. Turned out well. Just got to fill them now & remember where everything is the day after.

Just wondered if some of the members are thinking of building a new workshop or mancave. Take a look of my build & maybe you can work throughout the winter without it costing the earth to keep warm.
