Hi all,

49 years in precision engineering, apprenticed in a small toolroom then for the last 36 years I have supervised a suit of R&D laboratories specialising in the optical sensor technologies, responsibilities include design and development of novel optical sensor instruments and instrumentation resulting in many co-authored publication and licensed IP.

Retirement approaches, my Clock, watch and ham radio construction hobbies will need a machine shop, I have been spoilt for machine tool access, putting a machine shop together at a sensible cost is taking some research hence my new membership.
