      Hello Peter,

      I didn't put these pics on my website but here are a couple of the reversing gears in the gearbox – right hand side of photo:

      This is part of the gear assembly that does the reversing – bottom right of the photo

      I've got a CAD drawing of the gear assembly and bronze bush that I did for someone some time ago. Funny enough, they were missing the reverse gears as well. It's not the same lathe is it by any chance?

        It looks nice and can be improved by putting a piece of concrete ,sandstone or granite under the feets of lathe like shown on picture of my Boxford.

        A canadian Myford owner listened and casted a concrete slab and made a before and after test.Same material and tool.

        Surface improvement was very much real.

        His user name was Lazylathe but I have not been able to find his pictures on an american site

          No updates lately as i`ve been busy and not been able to work on the lathe. Hopefully i will resume shortly.smiley

            Head stock is now on so might have to buy my motor soon

              Getting exciting now…

              If this is your first lathe I would keep the drive belt slack for a while, as a precaution against disaster
