auto drain cocks polly 4

Hi, does anyone use auto drain cocks on their polly loco.i have tried asking polly engineering, but customer service unless you are spending money is not their strong suit.

If you do have auto valves fitted, can you please let me know who you got them from.thanks.michael

I have always found the team at Polly to be very friendly and accommodating.

What is wrong with the manual versions originally fitted to your Polly? I am not aware of anyone making auto drain cocks commercially.

Andy, I have auto drain cocks on a larger tank engine I have and just find them easy to live with.on the polly the linkage is poor relaying on a thin fork and pin to use.i know I can make up s better linkage but ivhsve seen auto drain cocks on a polly, and having used them would kike a set for mine.michael

Its disappointing thst younfeelmyoumdid not have good feedback from, I have always found them extremely helpful even for general advice about polly's. I have manual drain cocks on my Polly and find them fine, I wonder if yours aren't throwing the arms enough? You could always try making your own? Immsure there is someone who can provide you with some drawings.
