I came across this chap the other day. He is definitely one to watch.

        Enjoy.

        Regards.

He sure is, I subscribed after watching the first few minutes of his video on repairing Tom Lipton's level. As i have said here before, he is the perfectionists perfectionist with attention to detail way off the charts. An example for many of us to aspire to but sadly, I fear, few will equal.

Thanks for that heads up David. I started on the 'Custom Calipers' video and was hooked immediately. Beautiful and original work.

If you have 6 minute to spare, it made me chuckle – I think it is well related to the Electronic ignorance post.

I've been watching Robin's channel ever since Tom Lipton mentioned him on his channel David. An extremely talented person who's demonstrating a lot of topics that haven't been covered by others. There is a lot of really decent machining content showing up on Youtube by people who know there subject very well. Stefan Gotteswinter, Clickspring, Tom Lipton, Abom, This Old Tony just to name a few. I'd still have to put Robin right at the top of the one's I know about today. That's just my own opinion and others may think differently.

One to watch? I had a look at the 'taper boring' one and boring was true. A 30 minute video with 15 seconds of interest around 21 minutes. Obviously I skipped most of it so only wasted 45 seconds but why do these video makers drone on so and film themselves doing things like counting bits of wood.
