I have been trying to find a cycle computer that can be programmed down to 3" diameter wheels. I have a cheap one from Sainsbury's that I successfully programmed to ten times the speed. I tried Halfords but after much head scratching said they could not help.

Hi Ken,
Why not just divide the number of pulses from the sensor by 8 (Or some other suitable number) using a CD4040 or similar device. If you then set it for a 24" wheel it would read correctly if the sensor was on a 3" wheel.
