          I remember in the 1980s seeing a similar but simpler version with a Sirius or a Sun engine, in the Resistance Museum in Oslo; made for powering radios supplied to the Resistance in WW2 .

          I recall that like the example here, the Norwegian one was displayed without the boiler I think was specially designed and made for the purpose. Wood fuelled?

              Many thanks BR, just as I recalled. VERY neat .I believe that may be 20 years ago Old Glory did a very good article on this and the boiler which I think was differnt to the one shown here. Noel
