        It’s a shaper ! A very useful machine and much under rated. If you have room keep it, it can easily do jobs that other machines may not do. Good luck. Noel.

          Make and model are likely embossed on the door that appears to be missing.

          Doesn’t look terribly large, but might be an early anything.  Alba, maybe?

          I suggest you look on the lathesdotcodotuk site as starters.  Dims/power, drive details, etc, listed on here might help.  Looks like it could do with some attention, but each to his own…..

          Likely worth rather more than scrap value (in good working order), so should not be taken/sent to the local scrappie.

            Looks like it could be an old lend lease one. I used to have one similar it was called a Hartford.

              Google lens and his AI chum says it is a Boynton shaper in poor condition, for what’s that worth.
