      Not sure if Ron is still following this thread, but I think that what is acceptable in this approach to boiler construction is a bit of a 'grey area'.

      I'd advise Ron and anyone else looking at tig welding a copper boiler to do a few test pieces and then take them to a boiler inspector for discussion about how to approach the job. The alternatives will be relatively expensive testing or worse – a boiler that can't be insured.

        Hi Folks well just an update took the Black 5 parts to be inspected by both our boiler Guys glad to say so far so good.

        Had to return my Eastwood Tig at first it was fine.

        After it was not giving me a puddle in the Copper.

        Now using my sons at work 350 amp water cooled.

        Due to cold weather not been doing much just left to pickle so it will be nice and clean.

        Looking forward to next part will post when i do.
